	EDUCATION	2002-2006	NSCAD University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Bachelor of Design (Honors) Major in Communication Design Receiving an under graduate degree in not only the best institution of its kind in the country, but also in my home town has given me a wide understanding of art and design as well as the confidence to begin to work on a freelance basis years before even graduating.
		2005 (winter)	The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, New York NY Exchange/Mobility Program During a brief stay in the big apple, I studied Advanced Graphic Design Authorship, Typography, Motion Graphics and Decadent Literature. I was involved in several exhibitions and assisted an Artist and gallery part-time.
		2000-2001	Nova Scotia Community College, Halifax NS Applied Communication Arts Diploma The Program at NSCC gave me a solid foundation for my further studies, as well as the technical skills that have given me an advantage ever since.
	INTERNSHIP	2005	Deitch Projects Gallery & Mr. Ryan Mcguinness, New York NY What was supposed to be a temporary position at Deitch Projects Art Parade in SOHO, resulted as a part time studio assistant to Mr. Mcguinness himself. I helped in the production and installation of his work in the months leading up to his solo exhibition: INSTALLATIONVIEW at Deitch Projects.
	EXHIBITION	Honours Entrance Portfolio Exhibition September 2003 Anna Leonowans Gallery, Halifax NS Upon entering the Honours Program, the first task was to completely self organise a class exhibition of entrance portfolios. This was the beginning of the studio relationship that taught me so much. 		Exchange Exhibition 2005 December 2005 The Great Hall Gallery, Cooper Union NYC Another exchange student from NSCAD and I initiated an exchange student exhibition. We worked with international students who had as many cultures as disciplines to create a unified and coherent exhibition.		End Of Year Show April 2006 The Herb Lubalin Center, Cooper Union NYC My work was chosen to be in the end of year show at The Cooper Union. I am honoured to have had my work exhibited in the center founded by graphic design cannon Herb Lubalin.
